In addition to the requirements in S24-01, for any group internet-based CPE program offered, this policy required the retention of the program outline, agenda, speaker notes, or other documentation that evidences the element of engagement, which may include the entry of a code word or response to online polling questions as similar to the webinar programs. This records retention policy also addresses the name and qualifications of the individuals who created the content delivered. For the CPA and tax attorney acting as an author/instructor, author/developer, and reviewer for accounting, auditing, or tax program(s), the state of licensure, license number, and status of license should be maintained. For the enrolled agent acting in such capacity for tax program(s), information regarding the enrolled agent number should be maintained.
